Ned Hoyle

Senior Scientist

Ned joined Phoremost in June 2018 where he works in the Hit Validation and Drug Discovery teams.  Ned’s work consists of designing and running bespoke assays which interrogate the cell biology underpinning our drug discovery pipeline.

Ned graduated from UMIST before completing a PhD on the control of gene expression at the University of Manchester.  Ned has completed postdoctoral fellowships at Cancer Research UK, studying the basis of cellular timekeeping during embryonic development, and later at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, studying circadian control of actin dynamics and wound healing.

In his spare time Ned enjoys triathlon to keep himself fit and painting to keep himself relaxed.
